How to Reactivate Feng Shui Cures
From LoveToKnow Feng-Shui
Newcomers to the practice of feng shui may wonder how to reactivate feng shui cures if they feel the remedy may be weakening.
What Are Feng Shui Cures?
In feng shui a cure, or remedy, is used to create a positive flow of energy, or chi. It is a solution to a problem that exists when following practice of feng shui in your environment. Cures draw good energy into your house and stop negative energy from entering. They also disperse negative energies that have built up and redirect positive energy to specific locations. Cures that use natural chi in this way are called minor cures or simple cures.
Minor cures manipulate and adjust the energy within a given space and are very simple to initiate. You simply change the energy by adding one or more kinds of natural chi to the area. By using minor cures you are able to work within your home or office to make the changes that are needed to create a flow of good chi. The changes are easy to implement and do not require remodeling your home in any way. Minor cures generally work quickly and are very effective.
Feng Shui Minor Cures: Activation and Reactivation
When you implement a cure it must be done purposefully, with clarity of thought and understanding. All of your thoughts are a form of energy and that energy must be focused on the cure. An important part of the success of the cure depends on your proper intention and visualization at the time of implementation.
If you feel a cure weakening over time, it is important to reactivate it using the same focus of intention and visualization you used originally.
Types of Energy Used for Minor Cures
The following types of energy are used for minor cures.
- Light - includes mirrors, crystals, natural light, candles and powered lights
- Water
- Sound
- Color
- Spirit energy - living energy
- Plant energy - includes bamboo
- Fragrance
How to Reactivate Feng Shui Cures
Over time, certain types of cures may weaken and need to be reactivated. Always use the power of your thoughts when you reactivate a cure. It must be done with purposefulness, intention and visualization.
- When using a mirror as a feng shui cure it is very important to make sure to keep the mirror clean. Its power will weaken if it is allowed to become dusty or dirty. Simply cleaning the mirror will reactivate it. Never use a mirror that is distorted, tinted or smoked. If the mirror is flawed in any way, it should not be used as a cure.
- All crystals whether smooth or faceted must be kept clean and should be cleansed before being used as a cure. Cleansing the crystal resets their vibrations so they become attuned to you and your home. Cleansing crystals will reactivate them whenever you feel their power becoming weak. At a minimum, they should be cleansed and recharged once every three months. Several methods you can use to cleanse a crystal include:
- Washing it in salt water
- Holding it under running water
- Setting it in the freezer for several days
- Allowing it to bathe in the sunlight
- Allowing it to bathe in the light of a full moon
- Burying it in the earth for several days
- Allowing the crystals to set in a singing bowl for several days
- If the cure involves light from a lamp or light fixture, immediately replace the burnt out light bulb to reactivate the cure.
- To reactivate a water cure, replace the old water with water that is fresh and clean. Immediately change the water if you see signs of dirtiness, cloudiness or discoloration.
- To reactivate a sound cure that seems to be losing its power, polish the metal on wind chimes, bells or gongs.
- Remove a plant used as a cure right away if it is no longer healthy. If you are unable to nurse it back to health, you must dispose of it.
Conclusion
If you find yourself wondering how to reactivate feng Shui cures, remember the importance of purposefulness, intention, and visualization. Then you will know what to do.
