  • Air Quality is Important: The air in the bedroom should be fresh. Eliminate the stale, stuffy air that carries pollutants by opening the windows often. If this is not possible, use an air purifier to ensure fresh, oxygen-rich air.
  • Remove the Television and Other Electronic Devices: All electronic devices produce electromagnetic fields. It is believed that the negative energy produced suppresses the body's immune system. Try to eliminate all electronic devices from your bedroom and for any that you do decide to keep, including your alarm clock, place at least three feet from your sleeping area. If you must keep a television, computer or stereo system in your bedroom, enclose it in a cabinet and keep the doors shut while you sleep.
  • Use Colors That Are Soothing: The colors of your bedroom should achieve the balance of yin and yang. Warm colors are exciting and stimulating while cool colors elicit a calm and relaxed feeling. Find a good balance between the two.
